This young man is Mr. Everything when it comes to Penn Track and Field. He has already won four individual Heptagonal championships, one IC4A title, and been to the NCAA Championships twice in two different events. Kyle has transformed himself into one of America’s next great young decathletes. He is an extremely hard-working individual who gains the respect of everyone he comes in contact with. Already a school record-holder and among the top five in three categories, it is likely that Calvo could break three or four school records by the time he graduates. A fast-improving pole vaulter and sprinter, don't be surprised if he ends up on one of the Quakers’ nationally bound sprint relay teams during the 2007 season. His goals are to beat his coach's personal records in the heptathlon and decathlon during his junior season. Along with teammates Mike Hall and Max Westman, Calvo helps make up arguably the top returning decathlete trio in the nation.
