2006-07 - Posted an overall singles record of 2-6, going 0-2 in the fall and 2-4 in the spring ... On March 4, recorded a win over Francisco Gallardo of Oregon, 6-2, 1-6 (2) ... Went 0-2 in doubles overall.


Prior to Penn – Placed sixth at the European Winter Cup in Montecatini, Italy in 2005 ... Placed seventh at the European Summer Cup in Le Touquet, France in 2005 ... Ranked No. 1 in the under-16 Russian national rankings in 2004 and 2005 ... Won the under-18 doubles competition at the ITF tournament in Pancevo, Serbia & Montenegro in 2005 ... Took first place in the under-18 Spartakiade of Russian Students in Cheliabinsk, Russia in 2005 ... Was selected as a “Hope of Russian Tennis” award recipient by Russian president Boris Yeltsin in 2004 and 2005.


Personal – Son of Alexander Bekker and Victoria Visotskaya Bekker  ... Brother, Mikhail, was on the men’s tennis team from 2003-07... Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
