Pino He was hired by Albert G. Molloy Head Coach of Men's Tennis Rich Bonfiglio in October 2025.
In his first season as an assistant coach, He helped the Quakers qualify for the NCAA Division I Tournament for the second time in program history. He also helped coach Manfredi Graziani and Aaron Sandler to the most successful doubles season in program history, as the pair became Penn’s first doubles All-Americans, advanced to the NCAA Doubles Championship Final Four, and reached a career-high No. 2 in the ITA doubles rankings. Graziani and Sandler finished 20–0 in the spring and 32–3 overall, while earning unanimous First-Team All-Ivy doubles honors.
Prior to joining the men’s program, He spent two seasons as an assistant coach with Penn women’s tennis. During that span, the Quakers produced back-to-back ITA Regional Singles champions. Esha Velaga won the regional title in 2023, while Sabina Rutlauka captured the championship in 2024 with Velaga finishing runner-up. He also coached multiple NCAA qualifiers and First-Team All-Ivy selections, including Velaga, Rutlauka, and Eileen Wang.
Before joining Penn, He lived in Florida, where he served as a hitting partner for several top-10 WTA professionals and Olympians. He also accompanied Chinese national team players to the US Open, supporting their training and match preparation.
He is a graduate student at Penn’s School of Social Policy & Practice and holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Penn.
