Adam Reiter was hired as an Assistant Director for Athletic Communications at Penn in September 2021. In this role, he serves as the primary media contact for several of the Quakers' varsity programs.

Reiter came to University City from Wagner College, where he was an Assistant Director for Media Relations. At Wagner, Reiter handled the media relations duties for the Seahawks’ men’s and women’s lacrosse programs, men's and women's golf programs, and triathlon program, assisting with a handful of other programs.

During his time on Staten Island, Reiter wrote game previews and recaps, generated social media content for both team and departmental accounts, live statted multiple sports, worked with Twitter LiveCut for the school’s basketball and lacrosse programs, and created gameday scripts for Olympic sports.

Reiter arrived at Wagner after working as the primary media contact with Manhattanville College’s field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s basketball, women’s ice hockey, baseball and lacrosse programs as well as secondary contact for the school’s other programs.

During his two years in Purchase, Reiter’s responsibilities included writing game recaps, creating gameday scripts, and creating social media/promotional content for the department’s social media outlets. Additional responsibilities included live statting multiple sports and providing play-by-play/color commentary for various live broadcasts. Reiter also helped recruit more than a dozen student workers to the athletic communications department.

Before Manhattanville, Reiter spent two years in the Communications & Marketing and Sports Marketing departments at the University at Albany. Through his sports marketing efforts, overall attendance at men’s basketball games rose 25 percent in his final semester as an undergrad. With the school’s Communications and Marketing office, he wrote and edited more than two dozen press releases for UAlbany events.

Reiter has also worked numerous prominent athletic events, including but not limited to all 26 games of "Bubbleville" at Mohegan Sun Arena in November/December 2020; the 2015 and 2017 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournaments; the 2015 Men’s and 2017 Men’s and Women’s American Athletic Conference Basketball Tournaments; and the 2015 Scripps National Spelling Bee.

A native of Brookfield, Conn., Reiter graduated from UAlbany with a degree in Journalism; he also holds a Master of Science degree in Sports Business Management from Manhattanville.
