Biography

2009-10: Second-team All-America ... First-team All-Ivy ... NCAA Championships qualifier ... Finished the season with a 29-8 record ... Went 3-0 against an opponent on three occasions ... Opened the season with a 12-1 mark at the Philadelphia Invitational (1/10) ... Went 3-0 against both Duke and North Carolina at the Invitational ... Went 11-3 at the Ivy League Championships in helping the Quakers tie for second place (2/21-2/28)... The 11 victories were the most by any fencer in foil ... Finished 3-0 against Harvard (2/21) ... Finished third at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional to automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships (3/13) ... Won 14 bouts at the NCAA Championships to finish in seventh place in foil (3/27-28).

 

2008-09: Second-team All-Ivy … IFA foil individual gold medalist … IFA Men’s Three-Weapon champion … IFA Six-Weapon champion …Went 32-6 in dual bouts … Win total was second on the team … Went 6-0 at the Penn Multi-Meet (1/11), winning two bouts in each of his three meets … Went 3-0 against eventual national champion Penn State (1/25) … Was 10-5 in Ivy bouts … Went 3-0 against Yale (2/22) … Won seven bouts in the preliminary round at the IFA Championships (2/28), helping Penn to the men’s three-weapon and overall six-weapon championships … As the third seed in the IFA individual tournament, won four bouts to capture the gold medal.

High School: Canadian cadet national team member in 2006 and 2007 ... Canadian junior national team member from 2006-08 ... Finished 18th at Junior World Championships in 2007 ... Finished 20th at Junior World Championships in 2008.
