Biography

Powell on Tully: “The distance runner on the team with the greatest range could very well be Tully who has been a force in the League for the past three years from 1500m-5000m.  In 2004, Nolan recorded some impressive marks, including the fourth fastest 3000m time ever in the history of the Penn program. He currently also holds the No. 6 time in the 3,000m list outdoors.  Running anchor leg at this year's Penn Relays showcased Tully to a national stage during the Championship of America section, a race in which he propelled the Penn 4xMile squad to a sixth-place finish.   Tully, along with Hayes and Lieb, lead a senior contingent who want to leave their mark on the Penn program by bringing the school its first Heptagonal Cross Country title since 1973. Nolan is a student in the College of Arts and Sciences.”
