Why Penn? “Penn is a place where I can push myself as a scholar, an athlete, and a person. I love the diverse opportunities and resources available to further explore or discover areas of my academic interest and impact the larger Philly community.”
Why Rowing? “The sense of camaraderie that exists only in rowing captivated me. Rowing is challenging, but the thrill of coxing a race—especially when rowing through other boats—and the sense of achievement afterwards is not something I could find anywhere else.”
