Pat Dolan was hired at the University of Pennsylvania in September 2013 and—after serving one year as an intern in the strength & conditioning area—has been an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2014.
 
During his time at Penn, Dolan also has gained experience as a personal trainer with Penn Campus Recreation and Drexel University Recreation. He also served an internship at Villanova University, working with the strength and conditioning staff for the Wildcats’ football program.
 
Prior to his arrival at Penn, Dolan—who grew up in nearby Mullica Hill, N.J.—spent a year as an exercise physiologist with Zarett Rehab in Philadelphia.
 
Dolan received his bachelor's degree in exercise science and sports studies from Rutgers University in 2011, then remained on campus his first year after graduation to work as a graduate teaching/research assistant. As an undergrad, Dolan served internships at Going Vertical South Jersey and Jersey Physical Therapy.
 
Dolan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and is certified in CPR/AED and First Aid by the American Red Cross.
 
Dolan is married to the former Jess Turak, who is an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Penn, and they have a son, Benjamin.
