Why Penn? “Penn's Biology program perfectly fits my desire to study Evolutionary and Ecological Bio. In addition, I was deeply impressed on my official visit with Penn rowers' work ethic and competitive spirit.”

Why Rowing? “Rowing is the ultimate team sport. Win or lose, everyone shares the same result. When you’re in the shell, your goal is to forget the individual and solely think of moving as one. It's also the ultimate competition, often coming down to which team purely wants it more and is willing to go deeper to win.”
