Student Development Center - Quaker Cup - Main

Quaker Cup

The Quaker Cup is given to the team that exemplifies and embraces the initiatives of the Student-Athlete Development program. Penn’s intercollegiate athletic teams compete against each other for the coveted award. Both teams and individuals can earn points over the course of the academic year. Through this friendly competition, we hope that the Quaker Cup instills pride in Penn Athletics and fosters camaraderie among our teams and throughout the department.

This award is “the total package”: student-athletes support other student-athletes, excel in and out of the classroom, attend workshops, volunteer, motivate each other, and create PRIDE throughout Penn’s campus. The QUAKER CUP Champion will be crowned at an “end of year” ceremony.

Point categories include:
· Quaker Days
· Academic Achievement
· Athletic Achievement
· SAAC Attendance
· Workshops (personal/career/academic development)
· SAAC Sponsored Events
· Community Service
