Biography

2022-23: Won 17 of 30 bouts during the season, good for a .567 winning percentage … Went 3-1 at  (2/21) … Won five of six bouts at Tri-State Shark Showcase (1/29).

2021-22: Went 23-37 over 21 team bouts in foil … Picked up at least one win in all four team bouts at Penn State Invitational (1/16) … Won six straight bouts against Haverford and NYU at Philadelphia Invitational (1/22) … Closed regular season competition with 3-0 performance against Stevens at Temple Invitational (2/27).

2019-20: Competed in all 39 team bouts with men’s foil, the only fencer to do so … Went 52-54, becoming the first freshman with 50 wins since Andrew Sun in 2017-18 … Earned first collegiate victory against North Carolina in his debut, going 6-9 at the Elite Invitational (11/16) … Tallied a 10-8 record at the Penn State Invitational, including a 2-1 mark against preseason #1 Columbia (1/12) … Helped lead the Quakers at home during the Philadelphia Invitational, going 17-11 and earning his first career 3-0 sweep against Drew as well as a 2-1 mark against #9 Duke (1/18 & 1/19) … Turned in a 9-5 record at the Temple Invitational, sweeping Penn State and Stevens (2/23) … Finished 18th at the NCAA Regional (3/7).

High School: Part of an Independent Schools Fencing League (ISFL) team championship in 2018 while with the Collegiate School in New York City … Won individual bronze and won silver as a member of the junior men’s foil team at the 2017 Maccabiah Games.

Personal: Son of Margo and Mitchell Blutt…Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.
