Biography

2019-20: Went 4-1 in singles and 3-1 in doubles during fall action, while competing at the ITA Northeast Regional and the William & Mary Invitational … Defeated Juan Araoz (Temple) in the Round of 128 before falling to the #11 seed in the Round of 64 in singles at the ITA Northeast Regional (10/17) … Reached the Round of 32 in doubles with partner Edoardo Graziani (10/17) … Went 5-0 overall at the William & Mary Invitational, going perfect in both singles and doubles (11/1 – 11/3) … Went 4-3 in spring singles and 0-2 in doubles … Rotated between the No. 4, 5 & 6 spots in the lineup … Won three straight singles matches (Navy – 1/24, Michigan State – 1/31 & Drexel – 2/1) to open the spring … Secured the clinching point against Louis Gorregues of Temple in a team victory (2/26) … All 2020 Ivy League spring sports were canceled on Wednesday, March 11 due to a nationwide outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19 ... Academic All-Ivy.

2018-19: Team captain ... Helped Penn to a No. 23 rankings (2/23) ... Helped Penn to its third ECAC Championship in program history ... One of six Quakers to post double digit wins in the spring ... Finished season with a 15-12 record in singles ... Went 5-3 in doubles with Aleks Huryn ... Played majority of the spring at Penn No. 6 slot in singles ... Went 4-3 during Ivy League play ... Posted 6-3 record in three-set matches ... Won match to clinch ECAC Championship (2/17) ... ITA All-Academic Scholar Athlete. 

2017-18: Went 13-7 in the spring season playing primarily at Penn's No. 4 slot ... Finished season with 16 overall wins in singles ... Played at the No. 3 doubles slot all spring going 10-9 ... 7-6 win against Cornell was crucial in the team's 4-3 win. 

2016-17: Posted a 14-8 singles record during the spring season (positions 3-6) … Won the first five matches of his spring career … Provided Penn’s lone point against No. 49 Vanderbilt (No. 6 singles) … Tallied a 7-6, 6-3 win (No. 6) against No. 38 Minnesota … Clinched Penn’s 4-3 triumph over No. 31 Wisconsin with a 6-7, 7-6, 7-5 win at No. 4 singles … Notched a 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 win in Penn’s 4-3 triumph over Brown (4/15) … Also victorious in the season finale against Princeton ...  Went 6-2 in three-set matches (2-0 in the fall) … Registered a 4-6 singles record and 2-6 doubles mark during the fall season.
