SPARKS, Md. – Head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein has named the final roster of 22 players that will represent the United States in the Nissin Foods 2026 World Lacrosse Women's Championship from July 24 through August 2 in Tokyo, with recent graduate
Anna Brandt earning a spot on the team.
Midfielder Brandt's no stranger to representing her country, repping Team USA at the Atlas Cup and the Pan-American Championship in 2025.
Brandt closed out her decorated Penn career last year, being named a consensus First Team All-American by USA Lacrosse, Inside Lacrosse, and the IWLCA. While winning IWLCA and Ivy League Midfielder of the Year and earning Unanimous First Team All-Ivy, Brandt led the Quakers in free position goals (11), caused turnovers (28), ground balls (60), goals (68), and points (71).
She slashed three program records and tied one this season, breaking the all-time goals record with her 149th goal against Temple in February, the all-time draw control record with her 174th against Loyola Maryland, and the single-season goal record with her 64th goal of the year this week in the NCAA quarterfinals against #3 Northwestern. Brandt also tied the single-game goal record with nine over Cornell. The White Hall, Md., native had a strong stat line in the NCAA women's lacrosse tournament, tallying six goals in the first two rounds to become the first Quaker in program history to score 200 goals. The Tewaaraton Foundation named Brandt a semifinalist for the Tewaaraton Award for the first time in her career to add to her stellar resume.
