PHILADELPHIA – USA Lacrosse named its NCAA Division I women's All-Americans on Thursday, recognizing the top players in the country in 2025, with
Anna Brandt,
Natasha Gorriaran, and
Orly Sedransk of the nationally ranked University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse team garnering nods.
Midfielder Brandt earned First Team All-America, defender Gorriaran landed Third Team All-America, and goalkeeper Sedransk grabbed Honorable Mention All-America to represent Penn's USA Lacrosse All-Americans.
Brandt, who won Ivy League Midfielder of the Year for the second time in her collegiate career and Unanimous First Team All-Ivy for the third, leads the Quakers in free position goals (10), caused turnovers (22), ground balls (47), goals (57), and points (59). The senior slashed two program records and tied one so far this season, breaking the all-time goals record with her 149th goal against Temple in February and the all-time draw control record with her 174th against Loyola Maryland back in March. Brandt tied the single-game goal record with nine over Cornell earlier this month. The White Hall, Md., native had a strong stat line in the 2025 Ivy League Women's Lacrosse Tournament, tallying two goals, two caused turnovers, and three draw controls to earn All-Tournament honors. The Tewaaraton Foundation named Brandt a semifinalist for the Tewaaraton Award for the first time in her career to add to her stellar season.
Defender Gorriaran, who earned Unanimous First Team All-Ivy and Defender of the Year for the first time in her career, led a stout Penn defense, recording 19 caused turnovers, 30 ground balls, and 53 draw controls. The senior earned Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week on April 14 after holding off Yale to a season-low ten goals in the ranked battle. Gorriaran caused a team-high four turnovers in the contest, collecting three draw controls and two ground balls.
Goalkeeper Sedransk recorded a fantastic freshman season, recording a 10-6 overall and a 5-2 Ivy League record. The first-year saved 151 of 438 shots faced, holding a 9.85 goals-against-average and a .495 save percentage. The keeper landed back-to-back Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week honors the last two weeks after posting career-high 14-save outings against #5 Princeton and Towson. In the ILT against #2 Yale, Sedrnask stopped 11 shots to grab All-Tournament honors.
Brandt, Gorriaran, Sedransk, and the rest of the Red and Blue head to College Park this weekend for the first round of the NCAA Tournament, taking on Army on Friday, May 9, at 3 p.m.
