Quaker Notemeal
The No. 4 Quakers return to team play after a competitive weekend at the 2025 CSA Individual Championship in New York this past weekend. Sohaila Ismail, Franka Vidovic, Savannah Ingledew, and Allie Stoddard represented Penn in the college tournament. Freshman Stoddard won her bracket (the Holleran North), gaining valuable experience in a tournament she is sure to return to in the future. While the 2025 CSA Individual Championship was occurring, sophomore Malak Khafagy was competing in the PSA Squash Tour J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, the professional competition taking place just a stone's throw away. She made it to the second round of the main draw, no easy task for such a young player. Now that the tournaments are complete, the athletes rejoin their team with sights set on the team's success.
Prior to the tournament, Penn sat 10-1 overall on the season and 3-0 in Ivy-League play. The team dominated both No. 9 Columbia and No. 8 Cornell in the weekend prior to the individual tournaments. Led by the team's #1 Malak Khafagy, the Quakers feel strong and ready for the weekend ahead.
Previewing the Crimson
Harvard enters the weekend at 4-0 in conference play, defeating then No. 11 Dartmouth, No. 9 Columbia, No. 8 Cornell, and No. 7 Yale prior to the 2025 CSA Individual Championship. Over the last five years, the Crimson have beaten the Quakers in all five of their meetings.
Previewing the Big Green
Dartmouth enters the weekend searching for their first conference win of the season. Currently 0-4 in Ivy-League play, Dartmouth faces No. 2 Princeton on Saturday before hosting the Quakers on Sunday. Since 2006, the Red and Blue have owned this matchup, winning all twenty-two of their meetings in that time.
