How It Happened
Dartmouth needed just 38 seconds to go up on Senior Day in front of a sizable crowd at Scully-Fahey Field, but Penn drew level five minutes later when Block converted a free-position shot. The Big Green had the only other goal of the quarter and took a 2-1 lead after one.

Penn took control after that, scoring the first three goals of the second and then five in a row bridging the halves to turn its 2-1 deficit into a 9-3 lead.

Miles got the run starting just 1:02 into the second with a free-position goal, then Chung fed Chai for a 3-2 lead and Chung's 100th career point. Miles sandwiched that goal with another free-position effort just 1:29 later. Dartmouth got one back with 4:13 to play, but then Themelis scored twice in the final minute and the Quakers took a 6-3 lead into the break.

Brandt got on the board with a free-position goal, followed less than a minute later by Block finishing a Miles feed. Another Chai goal made it 9-3 with 9:09 left, and after Dartmouth got one back Brandt scored on another free-position goal to make it 10-4 after three.

The fourth quarter started slowly, but Themelis and Block scored unassisted goals to make it 12-4 with five minutes left. Dartmouth scored twice late, before Brandt closed things out with just seven seconds left to set the final score.
