Qwynn Ahearn's first-career home run, a two-run shot to take a 2-1 lead.
Â
A homer to left field started a four-run second inning for the Cougars, as CofC took a 5-2 lead into the third.

The Quakers got a run back the next half inning as
Nick Spaventa singled in
Connor Chavez to make it 5-3. But Charleston scored again in the fourth on an RBI single to double the lead at 6-3.
Â
Coming in relief of starter
Cole Zaffiro,
Carson Ozmer continued his stretch of dominance in the bottom of the fifth inning when retiring the side on two strikeouts. He got through the sixth without any issues either.
Â
In the top of the seventh,
Wyatt Henseler launched his sixth home run of the season to center field to cut into the deficit, now down 6-4.

But once again, CofC answered back with a home of its own, a solo shot to extend the lead to 7-4.
Â
Ozmer continued to limit the damage in the next two innings, but Penn's offense was retired 1-2-3 in the top of the ninth to conclude the ballgame.
