How It Happened
Charleston Southern struck first in the first inning to go up 1-0 and never let up, scoring nine more between the third and sixth frames to lead 10-0 heading into the seventh.

Â
Wyatt Henseler dug into the CSU lead in the seventh on a home run to left field, making it 10-1. Two batters later,
Jarrett Pokrovsky launched his first homer of the season to left center to trim the deficit to eight runs at 10-2.
Â
In the home half of the seventh, Charleston Southern tacked on one more run on an RBI groundout, in which Penn answered in the ninth off a three-run shot to left field for
Drew Rogers.
