How It Happened
The Quakers never trailed in the game, scoring in the opening minute when Keeley Block found Chung at the 14:19 mark.

However, the game remained close until the third quarter with Penn taking a narrow 5-4 advantage into half. In the third, the Quakers blew open the score with four straight goals to push ahead, 9-4, with 4:15 left in the frame.

Miles went back-to-back to secure her hat trick before Berkery followed with her third of the game. Brandt capped off the run with her unassisted finish to give Penn massive momentum.

With a lot of time still left in the third, the Blue Jays began to chip away at their deficit, closing the gap to two by the end of the quarter, 9-7. Penn regrouped at the break, coming out with back-to-back finishes from Miles and Berkery to push the lead back out to four with 11:25 remaining in the game.

As time ticked away, Hopkins' Ashley Mackin found the back of the net three times to draw the Blue Jays within one with four seconds left, but that's as close as they'd get.

Up Next
The Quakers head on the road for the first time next week, a short trek to Temple on Wednesday for a non-conference tilt. First draw is set for 2 p.m.
