MORGANTOWN, W.V. – Toppling West Virginia for the first time in program history, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team tallied a score of 195.050 to win the dual.

Skyelar Kerico won two events (bars and beam) while
Jordan Barrow took the vault win as the Quakers (6-2) defeated their fifth consecutive opponent.

Leading off the meet with a strong routine, sophomore
Skyelar Kerico led the way with a score of 9.850 as the anchor.
Sophia Paris tallied a score of 9.800, while
Zara Gazdak recorded a 9.775 and
Sara Kenefick a 9.725.

VAULT | Penn 48.775
Freshman
Jordan Barrow showed her promise on the vault, leading the way with a team-best score of 9.850. Kerico posted a 9.800, while Kenefick had a 9.725. Coming in fourth and fifth, respectively, was
Madison Perkins (9.700) and
Isabel Song (9.700).

Last week's best rotation was once again led by
Emma Davies with a 9.825. Kenefick and
Olivia VanHorn rattled off scores of 9.800, while
Marissa Lassiter had a score of 9.775 and Gazdak a 9.750.

Another phenomenal routine, Kerico led the Quakers with a 9.850 on balance beam.
Alisha Werlen finished off the rotation with a 9.725, while both Kenefick and
Campbell Marr registered scores of 9.700.

*Penn beat West Virginia for the first time in program history, snapping a 12-meet skid dating back to the team's first meeting in 1980.
*The Quakers' team scores on bars (48.700) and vault (48.775) are both season-highs this year.
*The Red and Blue have an overall team score of 195.000 or higher in back-to-back meets, the first time since March 13-19, 2022.

Jordan Barrow tied for first overall on vault, while
Skyelar Kerico tied for third.
*Kerico took solo first on bars with
Sophia Paris coming in third.
Zara Gazdak tied for fourth on the rotation.
*Kerico also finished solo first on beam, beating out a quartet of Mountaineers for the crown.

Olivia VanHorn tied for fifth.
*Competing as an all-arounder for the first time this season, Kenefick tallied an all-around score of 38.950 to beat out WVU's Abbie Pierson (38.725).
