WASHINGTON – For the second time in three years, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team claimed first place at the Lindsey Ferris Invitational.

The Quakers used the third-best score in program history (195.375) to beat out host George Washington (195.025), Temple (194.125), Yale (193.325) and Cornell (192.850).

BEAM | Penn 48.900
Kiersten Belkoff (9.825) and
Campbell Marr (9.800) led the meet off with 9.8s for the Quakers, followed closely by
Skyelar Kerico and
Samantha Wu, who both put forth scores of 9.775.
Carly Oniki made her season debut with a score of 9.725 and
Alisha Werlen also scored a 9.725.

FLOOR | Penn 49.300
The best rotation of the year so far, five Quakers scored a 9.8 or better in the event.
Emma Davies wowed the crowd with a 9.925, a career-high on the exercise. The score was also tied for the second-best score in program history.
Zara Gazdak,
Sara Kenefick and
Marissa Lassiter each contributed marks of 9.850 while Belkoff added a 9.825.

Belkoff paced her teammates with a score of 9.800, as
Sara Kenefick scored a 9.750. Kerico and
Jordan Barrow each had a 9.725 to go third and fourth.

Kerico scored a 9.800 on uneven bars to close out the meet, while
Sophia Paris notched a 9.775 and
Sara Kenefick had a 9.725 to come in third.
