HOW IT HAPPENED – Game 1
Coady and Princeton starter Jackson Emus traded zeroes and hitless frames through the first two innings. In the third, two straight hits, a walk, and a two-run double just beyond the reach of a sliding Ryan Taylor in left field put the Tigers up 2-0. After issuing a walk to reload the bases, Coady escaped further trouble by inducing an inning-ending double play.

In the Penn third, Seth Werchan led off with a single, stole second, and came around to score on a Calvin Brown single. Brown then stole second, and later came in to score on a Palis triple to tie the game.

After Appel was hit by a pitch to put runners on the corners with one out, Miller singled in Palis with the go-ahead run. With two out, Henseler singled in Appel for a 4-2 lead.

Princeton pulled back within one in the top of the fourth, but Penn broke the game open in the bottom of the inning. With one out, Brown and Palis singled and Appel was hit by his second pitch of the day to load the bases. Next up stepped Miller, who doubled down the left field line, scoring Brown and Palis. With two runners still on, Baker launched a no-doubt shot over the fence in right for a 9-3 Penn lead.

Penn added to its cushion in the sixth when Palis reached on an error, stole second, and came around to score on a Henseler single.

After three scoreless innings from Delany, Princeton added two in the ninth, but the sophomore closed out the dominant win for the Red and Blue

HOW IT HAPPENED – Game 2
Cole Zaffiro and Princeton started Tom Chmielewski matched zeroes for three innings, yielding a combined three hits.

Princeton broke through in the fourth with a solo home run, adding two more on a two-RBI single in the fifth, then another two in the eighth.

After at least nine runs and nine hits in five straight games, Penn's bats were limited to just five hits during the game, with the team unable to advance a runner past second base during the game.
