How It Happened
Penn and Cornell had a tight matchup during the first half. Just 35 seconds in, the scoring started with a free-position finish from Cook, followed by Moon and Miles in the following minutes. After a strong start from the senior group, the Big Red were able to match the game 4-4 at the end of the first.

The second quarter Cornell was able to match both goals scored by Penn and took the lead into the half, 7-6.

After the break, the Quakers turned the game back into their favor, only allowing one goal by the Big Red in the frame while firing home four more of their own to take a lead that didn't falter the rest of the way.

Midway through the quarter, Penn ignited a five-goal stretch when Feeley scored her first of the season off a draw control win. It was followed by goals from Gracie Smith, Julia Chai, Moon, and Miles to give the Quakers their largest lead of the contest, 12-8, by the 11:12 mark of the fourth.

The Big Red would get as close as two down the stretch, but Miles put away the final goal of the game with 14 seconds left in the contest to secure the 15-12 victory at home.
