ITHACA, N.Y. – Coming out on top for the third weekend in a row, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team recorded its fourth-best team score in program history in a 195.250-191.025 victory against Cornell Sunday afternoon at the Newman Arena at Bartels Hall.

The Quakers improve to 7-4 on the year with a 2-0 Ivy League mark and a perfect 4-0 record against Gymnastics East Conference opponents.

BARS | Penn 48.400, Cornell 45.450
Penn started the afternoon off strong with a solid showing on the uneven bars for the second consecutive week.
McCaleigh Marr led the way with a score of 9.850,
Marissa Lassiter finishing second on the team with a 9.750.
Kristen Kuhn was third at 9.625, with
Sara Kenefick placing fourth at 9.600.
Carly Oniki rounded out the field with a 9.575, followed by
Emma Davies (9.500).
VAULT | Penn 49.075, Cornell 48.450
Olivia VanHorn looked great on her vault routine, leading the Quakers with a 9.875.
Kiersten Belkoff followed her up with a 9.825 and Lassiter matched that score.
Campbell Marr scored a 9.800 with
Rose DeBarberie making her 2023 debut with a 9.750.
Alisha Werlen notched a 9.600 to place sixth.
FLOOR | Cornell 48.900, Penn 48.700
Lassiter nailed her floor exercise with a team-high 9.850, while Davies had a 9.775 and both Belkoff and Kenefick tallied 9.750's. Oniki finished with a score of 9.575 and VanHorn came in sixth with a mark of 9.050.
BEAM | Penn 49.075, Cornell 48.225
All eyes were on
Campbell Marr and one of the best balance beam routines in program history, as her 9.925 is tied for second all-time. Belkoff showed off with a 9.825 while both Kenefick and
McCaleigh Marr recorded matching scores of 9.800.
Kristen Kuhn picked up a 9.725 and
Alyssa Rosen was sixth (9.700).
Quaker Notemeal
*Penn's 195.250 is a season-high score, breaking the previous mark set last week at New Hampshire. It's also the fourth-highest score in program history and the best since the Quakers recorded a program-record 196.950 to win GECs last March.

Olivia VanHorn took home the vault title with the best score of the meet at 9.875.

McCaleigh Marr and
Marissa Lassiter placed 1-2 overall on the uneven bars.

Campbell Marr placed first overall on the balance beam with a 9.925, the second-best beam mark in program history and the best score by a Quaker in any individual event this season so far.
*Lassiter came in second on the floor exercise with her score of 9.850, finishing just behind Cornell's Sydney Beers (9.900).
