Registration Open For Men's Soccer 2023 Summer ID Camp and Junior Quakers Camp

PHILADELPHIA – Registration is now open for the University of Pennsylvania men's soccer Summer ID Camp and Penn Junior Quakers camps. Summer ID Camp sessions will run from July 28-30 and August 4-6. Junior Quaker Youth Camps will run from June 12-15 and July 24-27.

The Summer ID Camps are overnight events designed to attract top-level Club, Academy, ODP and high school players interested in playing college soccer. They will feature the Penn men's coaching staff who will provide their insight and expertise on the game. Coaches from programs including Wesleyan University (Division III/NESCAC) and Tufts University (Division III/NESCAC) have joined coaching sessions in the past. The coaches will provide exceptional training to help prepare campers for college soccer at any level.

The Junior Quakers Camp is for players aged 6-13 years old. The emphasis of the day camp is to develop individual technical and tactical ability in an environment conducive for learning at the younger ages. Campers will participate in small-sided games every day.

The format of all camps is designed to allow players to work directly with college coaches on the field in training sessions, small-sided games, and full field game settings. Camp numbers are intentionally kept small so that the coach to player ratio is conducive for a learning environment, where one can receive accurate and relevant feedback about your play.

Each player will also take part in technical sessions. Coaches will focus on the technical development of each player during this time and how they can best prepare for the college game. During this period, specific goalkeeper training will be conducted.

Due to precautions with COVID-19, Penn has made the decision to not allow university-run camps to provide a residential option. Registered campers will be responsible for organizing their own food and housing accommodations for the duration of camp.
