PHILADELPHIA – Coming off another strong performance last weekend at the Connell Cup races, the University of Pennsylvania women's rowing program heads to Las Vegas this weekend to participate in the Pac-12 Invitational. Racing is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday on Lake Las Vegas, and Penn will race all three NCAA boats at the weekend event.

Penn's Varsity Eight moved up another spot in the CRCA Division I rankings, to No. 15, and the Quakers have a few chances to move up the polls as they face strong competition this weekend in Vegas. On Saturday, Penn is drawn with No. 4 Stanford, No. 12 USC and No. 16 SMU. On Sunday, the Quakers are slated to race against No. 3 Cal, No. 16 SMU and No. 18 Oregon State.
