How It Happened
A slow start for the Quakers had the Greyhounds pull out to a 3-0 lead through the first nine minutes. However, Moon closed the door on the run with a free position goal with 4:57 left in the period to cut the deficit to two.

Penn picked right back where it left off at the start of the second, with Block and Moon connecting just a minute and a half in. Defensively, the Quakers held Loyola scoreless for much of the quarter, giving Penn the opportunity to tie the game at 3-3 when Block found the back of the net on her free position attempt.

In the final minute before the half, the Greyhounds ended their scoring drought on a free position goal but the Quakers answered quickly. Off a won draw by Moon, Penn pushed down the field and Feeley scored her first of four goals for the game on an unassisted finish with 25 seconds left.

The third quarter was controlled by the Greyhounds, outscoring Penn 5-2 to build up to their largest lead of four with two minutes left in the frame, 9-5. Hunter scored earlier in the quarter, and Feeley added her second in the final minute to cut the deficit to three for the fourth quarter.

In the first minute of the final period, Taylyn Stadler went unassisted right down the middle of the fan to get the Quakers within two, but Loyola responded with two-straight goals to spread its lead back to four, 11-7.

The Quakers didn't go away, answering with three straight of their own off goals by Niki Miles and two by Feeley to sway the momentum with 6:39 remaining.

Penn won the ensuing draw and managed to get two shots off over the next four minutes, one by Anna Brandt and another by Miles, but one soared high and the other was reeled in by Greyhound keeper Kaitlyn Larsson.

Loyola followed with a successful clear and ran down the shot clock as far as it could go before scoring the final goal of the game with 40 seconds left on the game clock. Penn won the next draw, but didn't have a shot attempt in the closing seconds.
