LOS ANGELES – The University of Pennsylvania women's tennis closed out its California trip with a 4-1 loss to #27 Loyola Marymount on Sunday afternoon. The Quakers fall 8-6 on the season.  
Penn won the doubles point with wins at #3 and #1. #41 Iuliia Bryzgalova/Marija Curnic and Sabine Rutlauka/Eileen Wang won their doubles matches.  
 
The Quakers let the match slip away as they failed to pick up  singles win.

Penn returns to the Hecht Tennis Center for a 1 p.m. first serve against Temple on Friday, March 18. This match begins a three-match home stand that includes Maryland (March 22), and the rescheduled match vs. Rutgers (March 25). The Quakers then will open April with three-straight Ivy road matches at Princeton (April 2), Brown (April 9), and Yale (April 10).
