PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The University of Pennsylvania sprint football team raced past Chestnut Hill, 56-7, on Friday night.
The Quakers (3-1) picked up their second road win of the fall, while the Griffins (1-4) suffered their fourth setback in a row.

Ben Klaus recorded his second career 100-yard receiving game. He hauled in six passes for 105 yards and a pair of TDs. It was his second game this year with two receiving touchdowns.

Brendan McCaffrey caught three passes for 59 yards and a TD. He moved into fourth place in program history with 1,156 receiving yards.

Laquan McKever rushed for 128 yards and two TDs. He has two or more touchdowns in three straight games.
*Penn was 6-of-7 on fourth-down conversions.

Andrew Paolini was 11-of-23 passing for 187 yards and four TDs. It was his second game this year with four touchdown passes. On the year he has 12 TDs and just one INT.

Jake Inserra had a game-high 12 tackles and a forced fumble.
*Reigning CSFL Defensive Player of the Week
Lewis Evans had six tackles and a fumble recovery. He also scored his first career TD on that fumble recovery.

Luca Curran had an interception on defense.

Bryce Stansfield was 8-of-8 on PATs. This season, he is 25-of-27 on PATs.
*The Quakers have outscored opponents, 119-7, over their last two games. During that stretch, Penn has scored 17 touchdowns and surrendered just one.
How It Happened
Penn came charging out of the gates, driving down the field 62 yards for a touchdown.
Laquan McKever put the exclamation point on the drive with a four-yard TD run. The drive was aided by a personal foul penalty by Chestnut Hill and the Quakers also converted a fourth and three from just outside the redzone with an 18-yard catch by
Brendan McCaffrey.
After forcing a three and out, the Red and Blue were back at it. After a pair of incompletions,
Andrew Paolini and
Ben Klaus connected for a 73-yard touchdown to give the Quakers a 14-0 lead just over six minutes into the game. The catch was the longest of Klaus' career and it was Paolini's third touchdown pass of over 70 yards this season.
Late in the first quarter, freshman LB
Jake Inserra forced a fumble deep in Chestnut Hill territory. On the next play from scrimmage, Paolini and Klaus hooked up for a 20-yard touchdown.
Bryce Stansfield's PAT gave the Quakers a 21-0 lead.
Chestnut Hill got on the board on its next play as the fireworks continued. Anthony Broderick took a handoff 79 yards to paydirt to cut the Penn lead to 14 at 21-7. It was the first touchdown that Penn had surrendered in over 84 minutes of gametime spread over six quarters of action.
Penn was able to stretch its lead back to 21 on the following possession. The Quakers drove 67 yards in 15 plays as Thomas Rebstock hauled in his first career touchdown catch to give Penn a 28-7 lead.
The Quakers took a 28-point lead in the second quarter thanks to scoring their first defensive touchdown of the season. On first and 15,
Lewis Evans recovered a fumble and returned it 62 yards to the house.
Penn found the endzone on its first drive of the second half. On fourth and 17 from the Chestnut Hill 41, Paolini hit McCaffrey for a touchdown pass to give the Quakers a 42-7 lead.
Laquan McKever tacked on another TD run in the third quarter. On second and one from the Penn 47, he broke free for a 53-yard score. His second touchdown of the night made it a 49-7 contest in favor of the Quakers.
Caleb Pierce joined the touchdown party early in the fourth quarter. He capped an 11-play, 50-yard drive with a four-yard score on fourth and three.
