PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 5 University of Pennsylvania women's squash team fell on the road on Wednesday night to No. 1 Princeton.
Reeham Salah earned the lone win as the Quakers lost 8-1.
How it Happened
The No.5 Quakers faced off against the top-ranked Tigers on Wednesday night on the road. In the first shift Salah won three straight games by the score of 11-4 to earn the 3-0 victory. The defending CSA individual national champion has played some of her best squash as of late as she has gone 12 straight games without losing more than four points.Â

Clare Kearns each fell at numbers three and six to put the Quakers down 2-1.
Haley Scott came up just short at number seven as she fell in five games. Scott bounced back after losing the first game to take the ensuing two, but fell 11-5, 11-4 in the fourth and fifth games to lose 3-2.Â

Julia Buchholze each lost 3-0 at numbers four and five. Stanley had game balls slip away in the first game as she fell, 12-10 in the first. She went on to go down in the next two games, 11-4, 11-9. Buchholz also came up just short in her match. The sophomore lost the first game 11-9. After losing the second game, 11-2, Buchholz fought back late in the third. Down 10-7, she battled off three match balls to tie the game at 10-10 but lost the next two points to fall, 12-10.Â
Jessica Davis took a game at number two. The junior answered a first game loss, but taking the second 13-11. Davis then fell in a hard-fought third game, 12-10, before eventually losing in the fourth, 11-6.Â
What's Next
The Quakers return to Philadelphia this weekend to continue Ivy League play. Penn will host No. 10 Dartmouth on Saturday before facing No. 3 Harvard on Sunday.Â
