PHILADELPHIA – Don't call it a comeback…
Actually, that's exactly what it was.
No. 8 Penn remained unbeaten in Ivy League play on the strength of a 16-3 run over the final 36:02 of its game against Brown to storm back on the Bears in a 16-10 win at Ace Adams Field in Penn Park.
The Quakers (8-1, 2-0 Ivy) did not score over the first 12:00 of game play, falling behind 3-0, before getting on the board. A little over 12:00 later, the Red and Blue found themselves down, 7-2, and in need of a stabilizing force.
Sophomore
Gabby Rosenzweig would be just that, factoring in on nine of Penn's 16 goals in the game with a career-high nine points on four goals and five assists. She had a hand in Penn's next three goals to get within two at 7-5 before halftime, and she would add four more points in the second half as Penn put together a 9-2 run over the final 20:01 to close out the game.

How It Happened…
The Quakers had their chances in the early goings, but were 0-for-4 on shots with three turnovers in the first 11:42 as Brown built a 3-0 lead. Penn garnered a bit of momentum as
Alex Condon scored with 18:00 remaining in the first half and Rosenzweig followed with her first of the day with 15:52 remaining to cut the deficit to one.
Brown would stymie the Quakers for the next 10:27, scoring four times while Penn went without a goal. Emma DeGennaro had two goals and an assist during that Brown run.
After Risa Mosenthal scored with 6:02 remaining in the first half, the Bears would not score again for 15:40 of game play as Penn roared back into the game.
Rosenzweig answered Mosenthal's goal with one of her own just 0:37 later, assisted by Barry. It would take Penn all of 0:50 to get another goal, this one scored by Barry with an assist to Rosenzweig with 4:35 remaining in the opening period. Rosenzweig would get her hat trick on an unassisted goal with 0:30 remaining in the first half to bring Penn within two, 7-5.
Out of halftime, Penn struck for the first two goals to level the game at 7-7. Barry scored quickly, finding the back of the net just 0:35 into the second frame.
Caroline Cummings would tie the game with her first of the day 3:38 into the second half.
Brown would retake the lead with 21:22 to play on a Hafsa Moinuddin goal, but the Red and Blue would net the next two. Condon scored from Rosenzweig with 20:01 to play, and Barry followed by using a great ballscreen to get open space and fire by the Brown keeper with 17:48 to play to give Penn its first lead of the day at 9-8.
Carolyn Paletta would counter for Brown 1:12 later to tie the game, 9-9, but Penn would score the next three to pull away. Paletta would score again for Brown with 9:51 to play, cutting Penn's lead to two, but Penn piled on the next four – each from a different goalscorer to seal the victory.
Penn is back at Franklin Field on April 1, hosting Northwestern at noon.
