PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's squash team (5-2, 1-1 Ivy) bounced back in convincing fashion after a loss to Yale Saturday, as they swept Brown 9-0 on Sunday afternoon. It is their third 9-0 sweep of the season. With the win, the Quakers move to 5-2 on the year which includes 1-1 in the Ivy League.
The Quakers get six days of rest before they head of to Connecticut to take on number two in the nation, Trinity.

* The Quakers defeated Brown 9-0 on Sunday, it marks their third 9-0 sweep of the season. They improve to 1-1 in The Ivy.

Reeham Salah improved her record to 7-0 on the season. Dating back to last year, the junior is 22-0.
* Salah gave up just four points on her way to victory.
* Along with Salah,
Julia Buchholz has remained undefeated. Buchholz continues to put together a nice freshman campaign. The fresham won in four games on Sunday to improve to 7-0.

Melissa Alves completed her debut weekend with a second 3-0 victory. After missing the first half of the season, the captain has returned in top form. Alves went 2-0 on Saturday and Sunday winning by a combined score of 6-0.
* How it Happened
After a tough loss Saturday to Yale, the Quakers looked to bounce back on Sunday against Brown. The Red and Blue were dialed in from the beginning as they earned their third 9-0 victory of the season. As a team, Penn lost just four games in the nine matches combined.
Marie Stephan got the Quakers on the board early with the first match win and they didn't look back. Almost simultaneously,
Cameron Munn won her match to give Penn an early 2-0 lead right off the bat. Munn lost the first game 9-11 but came back to win the next three 11-2,11-3,11-6.

Reeham Salah followed suit by also winning 3-0 losing just four points in the process.

Lindsay Stanley,
Cameron Munn,
Clare Kearns, and
Nicole Windreich all bounced back from losses on Saturday. Scott, Kearns, and Windreich all swept, winning in three games. Stanley showed impressive mental toughness in her win. Up 2-1, the sophomore lost a difficult 12-10 game that forced a decider. Stanley came back strong in the fifth, winning 11-6.
Playing in just her second match this season and making her debut this weekend, team captain,
Melissa Alves, swept winning 3-0 at the number three slot. The senior won 11-6,11-6,11-8.

The Quakers get six days of rest before they head of to Connecticut to take on number two in the nation, Trinity. The Red and Blue defeated Trinity 5-4 a season ago.
